Climate Change and You
Throughout the course when we were talking about climate change, I still believe that it is real and it is causing a damage to our earth. I did not take our lack of food supply and health services into consideration. I was more focused on the global effects rather than the human effects. The reading has opened my mind more about what climate change can do to us personally. Our discussions are similar to what I had in mind, knowing that climate change is real and that it is a negative impact on earth. We discuss thoroughly about what causes climate change to happen and it is mostly human activity. What we do causes climate change but many of us are unaware of it. The things we do on a normal bases, cook, use water, breathe, drive, etc. are the reasons why climate change occurs. Everyday I take the train to school, dance rehearsals, home etc. because it takes me AT LEAST an hour to get to these places. I can walk, but why. It will take longer for me to reach my destinations, I will get tired and then there is no point. It hard to prevent doing what we do daily to prevent climate change from occurring. We need to figure out other ways on how we can stop climate change from ruining our lives.
