Today and all my week I was thinking about this blog, then I told to myself how interesting this idea is and helpful it could be . After reading some of my classmates's comments I realize that I'm not the only one who English is the second language and I'm not the only one who feel uncomfortable sometimes speaking the second language. Every day I remember this "the bigger the obstacle is , more glorious and bigger the triumph and the victory are". , won't given up. Open mind and good energy always. Also, I was surprised about the Rosie Perez' book , and there are some Puerto Rican words "Spanish words" some of them I know or I can understand, but I know that for some of my classmates it could be little hard, if somebody need help about this and I can help, I will be available.
thank all for you time.

Thank you so much for the concern. I love how positive minded you are because it is very important by all means. In-fact, everyone should start their day by at-least one positive quote.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your offer, Karen. Let me throw this out for anyone who wants to answer: Why does Perez use Spanish words in an English language memoir? Also, why do the nuns tell her not to speak in Spanish? Why do they insist calling her Rose Marie even though she feels that her name is Rosie or Rosita?
